A 6" tall amigurumi of Link from The Legend of Zelda. The pattern is available as a PDF download on Ravelry or you can find it written below. If you have any questions feel free to email me at icrochetthings@gmail.com.
This pattern is probably about a year old. I was hesitating putting it up because the first amigurumi I made from this pattern wasn't that good and I wanted to redo it. Here is a picture of them side-by-side.
This pattern is probably about a year old. I was hesitating putting it up because the first amigurumi I made from this pattern wasn't that good and I wanted to redo it. Here is a picture of them side-by-side.
The changes I made were:
- Used a different skin-colored yarn that was less shiny
- Used a brighter yellow yarn for the hair and belt buckle
- Changed the arms to allow them to be movable and not jut out of the body at an odd angle
- Replaced the yarn eyes with actual safety eyes
- Used black crochet thread to form a mouth
- Sewed the hair on better so it wouldn't rise up off the head
- Crocheted tighter stitches
- Minor pattern adjustments
There was also a version of this amigurumi made between these two, but I ran out of dark green yarn while making the new version and decided to rip it apart for more yarn. That one was pretty crap anyway, it turned out too big with lots of holes in it (one of my looser-crocheting phases I guess), plus the color I used for the skin was awful. I plan on tearing apart the rest and using it to make another new version to sell.
