Free Pattern: 3DS XL Pokeball Cover

A 3DS XL Pokeball cover. It is  6.5” tall, 4.5” wide, the perfect size for one 3DS XL. You can download the pattern as a PDF on Ravelry or you can find it written below.

I said I would do this for the other types of DSs, so here is the 3DS XL version. You can find the 2DS version here.

Ugh, I don't know why the pictures look so bad on my blog. The red looks practically neon. =/
I've been in a bit of a crochet slump recently, and I apologize for a lack of patterns. I am in much need of some new ideas, so if you have anything you would like to see me crochet go ahead and drop me a message. I would appreciate it!

Worsted weight yarn in white, black, red
 H hook (5.00 mm)
 Scissors
 Tapestry needle

You should know how to work in the round, increase, and change colors.

Assembly:
See pictures above if you need help with placement

▪  Sew the button onto the front of the cover over the black stripe.
▪  If you made a protective flap: make sure to sew only through the middle of the button. You will need the edge of the button to be free in order for the strap to wrap around the button. I have included a diagram of where you can sew for further clarification.

    1. Basically just crochet around like normal, then once you reach the end of the round do 5 extra single crochets. I hope this helps.
