Free Pattern Friday: Mini Cockatiel Amigurumi

Welcome to another Free Pattern Friday! This week's pattern is a 2.5" tall cockatiel amigurumi. The pattern is available on Ravelry or you can find it written below. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at icrochetthings@gmail.com.

Just a fun little thing I did a few nights ago. I also modified it a little bit to make a parakeet:

Materials:
▪  Worsted weight yarn in yellow, grey, pink
▪  Felt in red
▪  E hook (3.50 mm)
▪  Stuffing
▪  6 mm safety eyes
▪  Scissors
▪  Tapestry needle
▪  Felting needle

Difficulty: Easy
You should know how to work in the round, increase, decrease, and change colors.

  4. Awesome easy version compared to some realistic looking much harder ones ive seen on etsy. Definitely intermediate friendly! I used some magic circles for the cheeks and wings and turned out great. Thanks for this pattern!

    1. I added some tail feathers. 1 big 2 small.
1 big: chain 9, down the chains: sc, hdc, 3dc, hdc, sc to end.
2 smaller: chain 9, down the chains: sc, hdc, 2dc, hdc, 2 sc and slip stitch into last chain.
sewed big ontop in the middle, sewed 2 small to the sides slightly underneath. fit perfect with the pattern!
