I've been wanting to do a Groudon amigurumi ever since I heard about the Ruby/ Sapphire remakes, especially since I had already done a Kyogre one. I was a bit reluctant to start because Groudon is a lot more complicated than Kyogre, but he turned out better than I had hoped! The embroidery was actually really fun; normally I have a harder time with it. Also, there's something funny about having a cute little plush of something so angry looking.

I am so happy I actually finished this. I had to start over three times, each time being over halfway done. I may have carpal tunnel now. But it was totally worth it!  This guy now has a permanent place on my bed. He is such a good pillow and an even better cuddle thing.

Also, I just got some Etsy books in from the library, so hopefully once I'm done with them I will be able to start selling some items! Got a few things I need to sort out beforehand too.

I have been so excited about the Ruby/Sapphire remakes that I decided to crochet the starters for the games. I fully intend on making sets of the rest of the starters as well.

Also, I hope to start selling actual items on my Etsy shop very soon! Hopefully within the next week or two. These will definitely be put up for sale, as well as the rest of the starters when I eventually make them.

Really happy with how this turned out. I usually try to avoid working with felt if I can, but with this one I didn't really have any other options without making it look messy. I'm also really happy this guy can stand on his own. Thank god for big tails.

I bet if you used a size or two smaller hook for everything except the head you could also make the Nooklings as well. Might have to try that in the future.

This is another really old amigurumi, but it's still pretty cute so I decided to put it up anyway.

Assembly

▪  Use black yarn to embroider a mouth and whiskers onto the face

I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. I saw a picture of an adorable Oshawott plush online and had to crochet one. Unfortunately I didn't have the right color aqua for the body so I had to settle for light blue, but I think I kind of like it better.
